What is Corporate Family Day?
Invite your employees out for a day of activities that are interactive, exciting and suitable for all ages. At the Pathfinder Level membership or above, take advantage of Corporate Family Days and special group experiences. Treating your employees to a day of fun and showing appreciation for the work they do can have a great impact on employee retention. Corporate Family Days allow employees, along with five guests, to enjoy free admission to the Museum. These special Corporate Family Day offerings are available on various Saturdays during the year. As part of this event, your employees will also receive special Museum discounts and perks for the day.

Admission and benefits
- Employees at participating companies may receive up to six discounted GA tickets as well as two free special exhibit tickets* on a Corporate Family Day
- 10% discount in the Museum Café and Museum Store
- $1 discount on Flight Simulators
Reserving tickets
- Online: Utilize the unique link provided by your employer to make an online reservation.**
- Phone: Call our dedicated Corporate Ticket Hotline at (773) 947-3155 to make your reservation over the phone
- In person: Stop by the Ticket Desk in our Entry Hall to make day-of reservations with proof of employment. Please note that special exhibit tickets are subject to availability. Advanced reservations are strongly encouraged.

When You Arrive
- Check in at the Corporate Family Day table by the Pioneer Zephyr train in Entry Hall. There you will receive your orange Family Day wristband and all information about the day’s benefits.
- Your orange wristband lets all Griffin MSI staff know that you are part of the Corporate Family Day. It is your key to unlocking all the benefits and perks of your special day.
Parking
The Griffin MSI underground garage has updated its parking system. While the parking rates for Museum guests have not changed, these rates now require visit validation at our parking kiosks using your Museum admission tickets. Arriving in multiple cars? Provide each driver with a copy of your Museum tickets or visit a parking pay station together.
- When you arrive at the garage entry gate, pull a parking ticket.
- Before returning to your car when leaving, validate your ticket at any parking pay station. They are found near all Entry Hall doors to garage levels — in most cases, just inside the garage.
- At the pay station, insert your parking ticket. The public rate will display.
- Scan your Museum admission ticket (printed or onscreen) to apply the validated rate and pay.
- At the garage exit gate, insert your paid parking ticket to exit.

Corporate Family Days take place several times throughout the year. To determine what day(s) your company is participating, please reach out to your employer directly or contact [email protected].
Corporate Family Day tickets are only valid during the event date. For information regarding discounted admission outside of Family Days please reach out to your employer directly or contact [email protected].
There is no cap on how many individuals you may explore the Museum with. However, visitors beyond the six-guest ticket discount cap will not be discounted in your cart.
Many companies receive discounted admission all year. You may be mistakenly booking regular visit tickets via that form. For Family Day ticketing information, please reach out directly to your employer or contact [email protected].

Our office is often made aware of employees who do not have a corporate email account. In these instances, the requirement for a corporate email to reserve tickets is lifted. However, additional proof of employment may be requested at check-in.
Examples of proof of employment can include: badges, business cards, health insurance cards, paystubs, emails (either proof that you have access to a corporate email, or a message received from a corporate account to your personal address), tax forms, etc.
Guests are welcome to print tickets if they prefer. However, tickets are scannable off mobile device screens.
As long as your purchase was completed, your ticket is still in our system. If you don't have the original ticketing confirmation emailed to you, email [email protected] or call (773) 684-1414 (option 3, then 1) to request your tickets to be resent. You may also bring identification to Museum ticket counters to have tickets reprinted on the day of your visit.

Special Exhibits, tours, and Giant Dome Theater films have strict start times. It is recommended that you arrive for these experiences at least five minutes in advance. The ability to reschedule special experience tickets is entirely dependent upon availability. Griffin MSI is a large museum with much to explore. We recommend at least 2 hours for your visit.
Griffin MSI has several options for purchasing food: to see availability and menus, visit our Dining and Shopping page. Corporate Family Day participants receive a 10% discount when showing their orange wristbands. Lunches may be brought from home and enjoyed in the designated dining area outside the Museum Café.
Your own stroller is permitted inside the Museum, except in certain exhibits where posted. For the safety of our guests, wagons are not permitted.
