Select Sundays from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

Low-Sensory Mornings provide exclusive early access to Griffin MSI from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., allowing you to explore exhibits with modified lighting and sound. Your tickets also include General Admission for the rest of the day, with most Museum experiences remaining in sensory-friendly mode until noon. See below for program dates and visit details including other low-sensory resources available for your visit.

Special exhibits and parking are not included.

Includes Low-Sensory Morning admission from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and same-day General Admission for the rest of the day. Special exhibits and parking are not included. 2026 Low-Sensory Morning dates:

What to expect

On our Low-Sensory Mornings, lights are dimmed, sounds are quieted and capacity is limited throughout the Museum including Idea Factory, Henry Crown Space Center, You! The Experience and the Pioneer Zephyr.

  • You can check out noise-reducing headphones for free from Guest Services in the Entry Hall.
  • In the U-505 exhibit, music and the majority of audio is lowered or turned off entirely.
  • The Tesla Coil will be deactivated for the morning and audio is muted throughout Science Storms.
