World of Genomics

Sunday, October 11: 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Monday, October 12: 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A one-of-a-kind event for all ages to play science games, meet real researchers and learn about DNA and genomics! Join us for the interactive, hands-on science experience that is World of Genomics. Featuring multiple stations focused on specific aspects of science, such as DNA, genetics, agriculture, robotics, microbes, and more. Scientists from the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology, part of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, will lead guests through lively activities that showcase the wonders to be found in modern science. This event is included in General Admission.
