Strengthen communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking in your classroom.

About the course

Move beyond talking about 21st century skills and start designing learning that builds them. Activating the 4Cs helps you intentionally weave communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking into everyday instruction, so students practice these skills in meaningful ways. Step into the role of a learner in the Innovation Studio, then translate what you discover into clear strategies you can apply immediately. You will examine how the 4Cs show up in real classrooms and plan lessons that foster deeper engagement, stronger problem-solving and authentic STE(A)M learning across content areas. Through guided reflection and collaborative work time, you will leave with practical tools and concrete plans to integrate the 4Cs into an upcoming lesson or unit. In this workshop, you will:

  • Practice communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking through hands-on design challenges
  • Identify where the 4Cs can be strengthened across your curriculum
  • Plan instructional moves that build a culture of active, student-centered learning

Designed for Pre K – 12 educators, specialists and administrators who want to increase student engagement and build transferable skills that extend beyond a single classroom.
