Build confidence teaching science that makes sense to students.

Learning about implementing NGSS

Strengthen your understanding of the Next Generation Science Standards and design instruction that helps students think, question and make sense of the world. In Foundations of NGSS, you will unpack what the standards ask of students and learn how to plan lessons that support meaningful science learning across grade levels. Explore the structure and intent of NGSS, experience three-dimensional instruction in action and see how sense-making drives deeper understanding.
