This fast-paced, accessible session unpacks why the standards were created, how they are organized and what NGSS-aligned teaching looks like in practice. Explore how sense-making drives student learning and see how three-dimensional instruction supports deeper understanding. Designed as a practical primer, this workshop strengthens foundational knowledge and helps educators recognize and support high-quality NGSS implementation across grade levels and content areas. The session can be tailored for science teachers or mixed audiences.
